On Wednesday, December 6, a remembrance ceremony for Sainte Barbe, Patron Saint of Firefighters, took place in La Savane on St Martin.

Led by Prefect Laubiès, the event was in recognition of the French Civil Security and its daily commitments to the public, especially during the months following the hurricanes which devastated the island.
